Department of Foreign Languages (English)
Overview
The Department of Foreign Languages was established at the beginning of the academic year 1430-1431 A.H, which is the same year the College of Arts and Humanities was established. The department offers a bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature program. Later on, it starts offering the same degree via the external study program as well as providing a master's program in English Literature.

OBJECTIVES

Inculcating the values and ethics of the Saudi society in male and female students, which consequently develops their sense of belonging to their religion and country.

Meeting the needs of the local community by preparing distinguished graduates in the field of foreign languages who are competitive in the labor market.

Contributing to the development of society by presenting new scientific research papers in both Linguistics and Literature.

Contacting stakeholders in the community in order to provide career guidance services for graduates of the department.
