Public Relations and Media Department is one of the important department in any administrative system or official establishment, because it is the way to contact all internal and external departments. It is the view of the university's on society, the contact way between the university and its internal audience of employees and students, and a tool to achieve strong and distinct relations between the university administration and the external audience of institutions and different segments of society. The importance role of the Department stems from the fact that it aims to create a positive impression, and give a good image and good reputation of the university through the functions and tasks assigned to it, to highlight the cultural image of the university, their employees achievements and future projects with the various parties that deal with them and gain their trust and respect. In addition, this department have to encourage the relations between the departments of the university and its departments. They give a huge attention to social communication between them, and oversee the organization of conferences, seminars, scientific forums and events.

The Department of Public Relations and Media have a very important role in the modern administrative systems; it is the gate to have a view about the development and achievements that revolves the University. It is one of the active departments of the university if it is not the most important department for substantial role in the forefront of the work of introductory and educational events in the university. In addition, it is the way to communicate between the various sectors of the university and the different departments. It is the contact between them and the external community in all its segments and institutions public and private sectors.

The Public Relations and Media Department strives to make the university's activities a success and highlight it in a way that suits the status and leadership of our scientific edifice. The administration and the employees are aware of the responsibility and tasks entrusted to them by the university's senior leadership to assume this pivotal role to chive the university's policy and performing its mission, and the university's goals, plans, programs and organizational structure.

-Reflect a positive image in proportion to the status of the university among universities

-Showing the facts, events, and highlight the role of the university in the media in order to build a relationship of trust between the university and society (educational bodies. Government sector. Private sector) and various media

- Coordinate and prepare with the media bodies which are wishing to conduct media interviews and scientific programs within the university.

Functions of the Media Unit

- Upgrading conferences and seminars through the organization and preparation of media publications and propaganda and advertising campaigns to a distinct professional system for the success of all events

- Establishing the principles of perfect interaction between all, and taking into account values, social standards, laws, public morals, and career level - Interact with the community and meet its needs in terms of providing it with all the information، facts and accurate statistics

- Providing university departments and colleges with the needs of internal and external community

-Seeking to build a positive image of the university to the community.

- Having a strong communication, partnership, and cooperation between the university and government and civil bodies, organizations, companies, and other educational facilities.
