To consecrate the concept of quality and spread its culture at the college level by providing lectures, meetings and induction workshops that contribute to achieving the University's vision of academic accreditation.

Tasks

 

1 - Supervising the implementation of the quality program in college.

2 - Study the difficulties or problems facing development and quality programs and propose solutions to them.

3 - Supervising the evaluation of performance in college.

4 - Provide the necessary facilities for all teams based on the application of quality.

5 - Coordination between the committees responsible for development and quality.

6 - Planning for obtaining the program and academic accreditation of the college and preparing the program for national and international academic accreditation in coordination with the university's agency for development and quality.

7 - Supervising the establishment of course files, the program file in the academic departments in both parts of the students and build their information, and update them at the end of each semester in accordance with the requirements of academic accreditation.

8 - Encouraging faculty members to participate in attending courses, training programs and workshops.

Computer Department is one of the scientific departments in the Faculty of Science and literature in the compass has started this section with the beginning of the establishment of the College in the academic year 1429/1430 e students and computer students. The computer department started with a teaching plan for the computer science program, where three batches were graduated, and a number of graduates were sent to external missions. Beginning in 1433/1434, work was carried out in accordance with the plan of the College of Computers and Information. Graduates of this program are graduated from the beginning of the year 1436/1437.

The department has eight teaching staff with the rank of assistant professor, 2 members with a lecturer degree and 1 member with a lecturer degree.

Overview

 

The Physics department is one of the main Science departments for presenting the Physics bachelor’s degree. Besides, the study itself serves all the scientific fields in all colleges. It’s the base of natural Science, and the main reason behind developing it through the last centuries, which in turn opened the door for achieving great developments in all the basic and applied Science majors.

Objectives

 

As a result of curriculum required for the physics program, graduates will:

  • Appreciate the role of science in society and the historical development of physics in the ongoing quest to discover the structure of the universe.

  • Gain an understanding of the basic principles and the experimental basis of the various fields of physics and the logical relationships of the various fields.

  • Become capable problem solvers using techniques that require mathematical skills, conceptual and mathematical models, order of magnitude estimates and an understanding of limiting cases.

  • Develop competence in designing, constructing and using laboratory instruments and to draw valid conclusions from experimental data.

  • Develop competence in using computers for computation, data acquisition, numerical control, device development and information acquisition and processing.

- Analyzes experimental results in the light of physical theories.

At the end of the program the student will be able to:

- Apply mathematical and statistical methods to interpret experimental results.

- Occupy concepts and laws of physics for research purposes.

- Designing an experiment to verify physical theory.

- Uses various electronic resources (search engines on the web and electronic libraries)

- At the end of the program the student will be able to:

Overview

 

The Department of Biology is a distinguished scientific division of the study of the direct and indirect relationship of living organisms. The study in the department is concerned with the vital aspects of living organisms and the extent to which these organisms interact with each other and their relationship to the surrounding environment. To keep pace with scientific development, the department did not specialize in studying organisms at the cell level, but also at the genetic level. The Department of Biology is a distinguished scientific division of the study of the direct and indirect relationship of living organisms.   • Qualifying graduates scientifically to study the various phenomena in living organisms (animal, plant and microorganisms) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as environmental studies in various regions of the Kingdom.

  • To keep abreast of the scientific development in the different fields by obtaining the latest equipment and equipment in the fields of biology based on precise techniques (to encourage interactive and innovative thinking and help develop applied skills in the field of specialization).

  • Providing the various governmental facilities and the private sector with qualified national cadres with advanced scientific qualification in all fields of biology.

  • Ideal use of modern technology in education and scientific research.

  • Provide a suitable environment for study and scientific research (in addition to research projects, field studies and training visits during different stages of education).

  •  Attracting the best faculty members and researchers.
