Vice Deanship of Quality and Development for Planning and Development
The Planning and Development Agency is directly linked to the Dean and supervises strategic planning, which is the correct channel through which the desired goals are achieved in teaching, learning, scientific research, community service, and other fields related to the educational environment. It also provides a practical and systematic basis and measurement tool for following up on the implementation of academic projects and programs and aligning and identifying resources. necessary for it, the level of achieving the goals, and the percentage of achievement therein. This agency also seeks to spread and consolidate the culture of strategic planning at the university as one of its real roles by providing an advanced model that provides support to all sectors of the university and helps them apply the best local and international practices to achieve the university’s strategic plan and goals.
Tasks
• Updating, developing and following up on the university’s strategic plan in accordance with the state’s vision and strategic directions.
• Providing technical support to university units to prepare their strategic and operational plans that are compatible with the university’s strategic plan.
• Follow up on the implementation of the university’s strategic plan in cooperation with relevant authorities.
• Study the university’s development projects and verify their alignment with the university’s strategic plan.
• Preparing periodic performance reports on the achievements of the university’s strategic plan and submitting them to the relevant authority.
• Providing specialized workshops to raise the efficiency of those responsible for following up the university’s strategic plan.
• Follow up on the implementation of the future plan for university education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and align it with the strategic direction of the university.
• Spreading and consolidating the culture of strategic planning at the university.
