The College of Medicine at Al-Baha University is one of the colleges of Al-Baha University in the university city of Al-Aqiq province in Al-Baha region. The college was established in 1429 AH corresponding to 2008, and teaching medical students started at the beginning of the academic year 1430/1431 AH. in 1436 AH the female student's section was opened. The leadership of Al-Baha University was keen to establish a medical college with excellence not only locally and regionally but also globally, and from this standpoint, the college worked on the applying a modern system, which has not been applied in many medical colleges in the Kingdom, which is the (Integrated system), where the same subject is studied again at a later stage, which provides a great opportunity to fully absorb the subject. The University Hospital is currently under construction.

The work process of the Vice Deanship of the College of Medicine, in the female section, started in 1436.

The Vice Deanship of the College of Medicine for the female section supervises the female students, the administrative, and academic staff. Also, coordinates with the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Hospital Affairs to ensure the quality of the educational process for female students and to achieve the goals and vision of the College of Medicine in preparing future female doctors.

Since its establishment, the College of Medicine has been striving for successful and distinguished educational outcomes that raise the level of health services in order to achieve the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. Through a modern system in medical education by teaching the latest approved medical curricula and providing training in advanced medical centers in line with the needs of the labor market.

The College of Medicine also pays great attention to scientific research, the basic building block for the independent industry, by developing awareness of scientific research and motivating male and female students to participate and represent the college in local and international scientific meetings under the supervision of qualified academic staff.

In the future, we look forward to excellence and active participation in achieving the strategic goals of the college and university, to advance the educational process to the highest levels of quality.

Tasks

• Organizing work in the college and running its affairs, which requires working according to the policies and regulations.

• Issuing the internal assignments required by the work process within the college according to the policies and regulations.

• Forming student activity committees within the college.

• Supervising the committees of the Agency and submit their reports to the competent authorities.

• Raising the issues of female students of the Higher Committee for the issues of female students in universities.
