About: Introduction
The Biology department offers Bachelor degree of Science in Biology. The program provides many opportunities for careers in teaching, healthcare, agriculture, industries and environmental research centers. This program, also, enable students to continue their higher studies and research in different fields of life sciences. In tailoring the curriculum, the department was guided by the academic accreditation requirements, the standards of the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA) and according to the national qualifications framework for higher education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Constant efforts are being made with the possibility of continuous improvement of curricula and study plans so as to respond to the expected changes that are frequently occurring in the world.

The Bachelor of Science in Biology program consists of 133 accredited units distributed over eight levels (four academic years).
