MECHANICAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT
OVERVIEW
The Mechanical Engineering Department was established following the establishment of the Faculty of Engineering in 1426/1427 AH to fulfill the Kingdom's demand for mechanical engineers. Our department is meticulously designed to provide students with essential skills and knowledge over a five-year academic period. Throughout this duration, we strive to build a strong scientific foundation covering diverse disciplines within mechanical engineering, including principles of mechanical design, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and energy systems. Moreover, our program encompasses topics such as manufacturing processes, materials science, control systems, robotics, and renewable energy technologies.
