Faculty of Engineering

The Faculty of Engineering is one of the first faculties that were established at Albaha University. The Faculty has five scientific departments: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture and Computer Engineering. Each department has a program that grant a bachelor's degree in engineering. The Faculty seeks to provide its students with a distinctive learning environment that contributes to the preparation of highly qualified engineers to contribute to the development of the Kingdom.

Quality plays a crucial role in all fields, empowering students to reach the highest scientific levels within an engaging and stimulating educationalenvironment. This, in turn, ensures optimal performance from both academic and administrative staff.
The Vice Deanship for Postgraduate Studies, Research, Innovation, and Quality at the Faculty of Engineering in Albaha University has specific objectives centered around planning and managing development and quality processes. They strive to achieve accreditation standards and academic evaluations across all departments' teaching and academic processes. Furthermore, the Vice Deanship is dedicated to upholding high-quality standards in administrative tasks within the college while also focusing on enhancing and improving staff performance.

tasks

  • Following up the implementation of the policies and objectives adopted by the university regarding the various actions and activities pertaining to the Vice Deanship for Development and Entrepreneurship.

  • Maintaining permanent coordination with the vice deans and heads of the departments in order to accomplish the objectives of the college.

  • Contributing to the drafting of the basic documents of the quality assurance system (such as the manual of policies and procedures), according to the requirements of the quality assurance system at the university.

  • Preparing a comprehensive report on the work and achievements of the deanship, and submitting it to the college dean.

  • Spread the culture of development and quality at the college level.

  • Supervising the achievements of quality programs and systems and evaluation of performance in college.

  • Supervision and follow-up with the scientific departments in the faculty in the issues of development and quality.

  • Supervising the preparation and implementation of the developmental and strategic plans of the College.

  • Supervising the self-study and preparing future improvement plans to raise academic and administrative performance levels in the college and follow up with the Deanship of Development and Quality at the university.

  • Supervising the work of the committees emanating from the deanship to serve development, quality, graduate studies, and scientific research.

  • Follow up the affairs of the envoys abroad to follow up on their performance and overcome their difficulties.

  • Supervising the development of master's programs in all departments of the college.
