This course combines theoretical and practical contents through which students gain knowledge and skills in infections with helminths origin. It provides students with essential information on helminth infections. Particular emphasis placed on the following areas: distribution of helminth diseases, localization of the parasite in the host's body, morphology and life cycle of parasitic helminths, portal of entry of each parasite, pathogenic effects resulted.

This course introduces students to the most common infections from parasite origin. The course is designed for the purpose to provide the student with essential information on protozoal infections stressing various topics and areas necessary for an understanding of the geographical distribution of protozoal diseases, localization of the parasites in the host's body, and morphology and other concepts.

This branch of science also covers various aspects associated with antifungal agents.
