وحدة الدراسات العليا و البحث العلمي

توصيف الوحدة

 

وحدة الدراسات العليا و البحث العلمي تمثل الجناح البحثي للكلية علوم الحاسب وتقنية المعلومات. أنشئت الوحدة لرفع المستوى الأكاديمي للكلية. دورها الأساسي هو تشجيع أعضاء هيئة التدريس والباحثين للمشاركة بنشاط في البحوث الأساسية والتطبيقية في مجال علوم الحاسب. الوحدة أيضا مسؤولة على تسهيل إنشاء مجموعات بحثية جامعية داخل الكلية و فيما بين الكليات داخل الجامعة. بالإضافة إلى ذلك, الوحدة مسئولة أيضا عن تقديم المشورة للمحاضرين و المعيدين و المعيدات الذين يرغبون في متابعة دراساتهم العليا في الجامعات العالمية المختلفة.

الرؤيا

 

جعل جامعة الباحة جامعة رائدة في  بحوث الحوسبة بالمملكة العربية السعودية.

 

المهام

 

المهمة الرئيسية للوحدة هي المساهمة في إظهار و إشعاع الكلية على مستوى  الدراسات العليا و البحث العلمي من خلال الأنشطة التالية.

  • بدء برامج الماجستير في مجال الحوسبة في مستوى عالمي.
  • تنظيم مؤتمرات وطنية و دولية حول آخر التطورات و المستجدات في مجال الحوسبة سنويا.
  • تنظيم ورش عمل لأعضاء هيئة التدريس في الكلية وكذلك الكليات الأخرى بانتظام.
  • وضع مذكرة تفاهم (MoU) حول التعاون البحثي مع مجموعات مرموقة داخل المملكة وخارجها.
  • تشجيع الباحثين في كلية على الإنتاج البحثي و الحصول على منح البحثية.

 

الأهداف

  • متابعة برامج البحوث على المدى القصير و الطويل في خدمات و تكنولوجيا الحوسبة مع التركيز بشكل خاص على المجالات الأساسية والتطبيقية للحوسبة.
  • التنظيم والمشاركة بنشاط في الندوات والمؤتمرات البحثية وورش العمل على نشر المعرفة.
  • العمل كوسيط بين الأوساط البحثية والمؤسسات التجارية من أجل المنفعة المشتركة لكلا القطاعين.
  • مساعدة عميد الكلية في إدارة المجال الأكاديمي و البحثي بالكلية.
  • مساعدة أعضاء هيئة التدريس في متابعة تعليمهم العالي.
  • تحقيق أفضل مؤشرات الأداء الرئيسية (KPIs) في مجال الدراسات العليا و البحث العلمي في جامعة الباحة
  • إدماج الأنشطة البحثية في عملية التعليم والتعلم من أجل تطوير المناهج و البرامج (البرامج الجامعية والدراسات العليا على حد سواء)
  • تشريك الطلاب الجامعيين في النشاطات البحثية من خلال البرنامج التالية:
  • التدريب على البحوث
  • البحوث في إطار مشاريع التخرج بالسنوات النهائية (FYP)

 

خارطة الطريق

  • كل مجموعة بحثية  مطالبة بإعداد خارطة الطريق البحثية الي ستتبعها. خارطة الطريق يجب أن تمثل خارطة الطريق الفردية أيضا، تضمن أن تتم على مدى 5 سنوات. ويمكن أن تشمل: مجال البحث، الإنجازات المستهدفة، ووصف مختصر لكل مجال من مجالات البحث.
  • وحدة الدراسات العليا و البحث العلمي ستجري ورشة عمل لتحديد خارطة الطريق لأبحاث الكلية باستخدام مدخلان من خارطة طريق الأبحاث للمجموعات البحثية بالكلية.

 

الخطة الإستراتيجية 2016-2017

 

  • تنظيم ورشة عمل متعددة التخصصات لمدة 3 أيام في بداية سنة 2017.
  • البدء في برنامجي ماجستير واحد في علوم البيانات وآخر في أمن المعلومات بداية من خريف سنة 2017.
  • البدء في برنامجي دراسات العليا في التخصصات المذكورة أعلاه بداية من خريف سنة 2017.
  • تنظيم مؤتمر دولي للحوسبة في نهاية سنة 2017.
  • تنظيم ندوات أسبوعية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس في الكلية حول المواضيع الحديثة للحوسبة.
